Easy Fried Popcorn Shrimps is one of our favorite thing to eat, anytime we are on the road trip it is a must-have for us, if you need finger food for your guests during this festive period or needs some staple snack in your home then look no further, this popcorn shrimp is the best, the fast food or deli ones has nothing on this. If you’re watching your oil intake you can bake, it is still delicious.

I call it easy fried popcorn shrimps because it is very easy to make, Just season, make and arrange your dredge station, deep, coat, deep, and fry. That is it!

Course: Appetizer, Snack
Ingredients
  • 2 Pounds Shrimps (peeled, deveined, tail off)
  • 2/3 Cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1.5 Cups Breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 Cup Milk
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Paprika
  • 2 Teaspoons Garlic powder
  • 2 Teaspoons Onion Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt
Instructions
  1. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper and mix. I like my seasonings to get into the shrimps and not just on the panko and the flour.

  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, Italian seasoning, paprika, onion, and garlic powders.

TIP: I poured the flour into a ziplock bag to coat the shrimps' then pour on a tray shook off the flour excess before dipping it into the egg, then pour the breadcrumbs into a ziplock to coat just like I did with the flour.

Recipe Notes

If you're using different sizes (as I did) of the shrimps make sure you fry the ones with the same size at the same time because of the cooking or frying time.

    1. Thank you for pointing that out, Norma.
That was an error, it was supposed to be Italian seasoning and it was already added in the flour.
      It has been fixed.

  2. These sound really good! I love eating fried shrimp at restaurants but have never attempted to make them myself but I may have to try these. How do you devein them?

    1. I love them too! try to make some you would love them.
Remove the peel, make a cut/shallow in the middle of the shrimps and use a tip of a knife to remove the black vein.
