Ground beef, Potato and Kale Soup

Ground beef, Potato, and Kale Soup is a simple recipe you would love to try and enjoy with your family. It is nutritious and delicious.
If you want more spice, just adjust the recipe to suit your taste, also if you have boiled pepper in the refrigerator you can skip the red bell pepper and habanero and use the boiled pepper you have.
kale is naturally tough you need to massage kale very well if you don’t like it tough.  Once you cut it into bite-sized, add a little olive oil, salt, and lemon juice (lemon is optional), then use one your hand to massage for a minute or two. The fibers break down, and the kale becomes softer. Rinse when done.

INGREDIENTS

    • 1 bunch Kale, picked cleaned and cut into bite-sized pieces
    • 6  Potatoes (your choice), Thinly sliced
    • 1-1/2 pound Ground beef
    • 1 Onion, Chopped
    • 1 Red bell pepper
    • 1 Habanero pepper
    • 1 Cup Chicken Broth
    • 1 Cup Whole Milk
    •  Oregan
    • Italian seasoning
    • 1 Cube Chicken flavor bouillion (Maggi)
    • 1 Teaspoon Turmeric
    • Salt to taste


INSTRUCTIONSPick and clean kale (or any veggie of your choice)and set it aside. kaleIn a pot, boil sliced potatoes until tender, drain water from the potato and set aside. 

 

potato slicedIn another pot, add and brown the ground beef. Add onion, pepper or chopped red bell pepper and habanero. When done drain the fat released from the beef as much as you can.ground beef with veggiesAdd the oregano, turmeric, Italian season,  and Maggi. Stir and pour chicken broth,  milk.  Let it simmer for about 20 minutes.Add the potatoes, also stir in the kale, add salt. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed. Simmer for a few minutes and serve.
