Proof Yeast: In a mixing bowl, dissolve the yeast in the warm water (not hot, warm enough that you can touch) and set aside for about 5 minutes, you'll notice it has foamed up.
Add warm butter, milk, sugar, and salt. Whisk and add to the yeast. You can use a stand mixer or hand and mix flour about 1/3 at a time, continue to mix. It should be sticky. But if you need to add more flour please do depending on the humidity in your kitchen
If you use hand transfer to a floured surface and knead the dough on it for about 15 minutes until it's smooth and elastic. If you're using a mixer knead for about 8-10minutes, and form the dough into a ball.
Grease a bowl and transfer the dough ball, cover and keep in a warm place to rise(double), it takes about one hour or more. TIP: I usually warm my oven ahead to make the process faster.
Place the dough on a floured worktop and knead for about 3 minutes cut into two and form a bread shape.
Place in the prepared baking pan. keep in a warm place and let it rise the second time.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
When the dough has doubled brush melted over it and bake in the preheated oven and bake for about 25 minutes or until the top is golden brown and all cooked through.
Rub butter over the bread immediately it comes out the oven. Let it cool.
Serve and enjoy!
