Barbecue chicken wings are sticky, sweet and tasty. This is a very simple recipe, and very easy to make, use any barbecue sauce brand of your choice and you can use as much as you want but the amount I used was just right.
Are you having some guests over to your place, or holding a small gathering or a big party, these barbecue chicken wings are crowd pleasers and if you couldn’t lay your hands on wings use any chicken parts of your choice but wings are the right size for parties.

Barbecue Chicken (Nigerian Barbecue Chicken)
- 2 Pounds Chicken wings (and drumette, clean and dry)
- ¾ Cup Rice flour (or All-purpose flour)
- 2 Teaspoons Paprika
- 1 Teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 Teaspoon Ginger powder
- Salt and pepper
- Glaze
- ¾ Cup Barbeque sauce
- ¼ Cup Honey
- 2 Tablespoons Water
- 1 Teaspoon Lime juice

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F, line a baking sheet with foil and grease with oil or cooking spray, then set aside.

In a medium bowl, add the chickens and season with salt, pepper, paprika, ginger, and garlic powder then combine.

Place the seasoned on the prepared pan on a single layer and bake for 30-35 minutes. Flip when it’s about 20 minutes after and continue to bake.

In the last 12-15 minutes to baking the chicken, add all the glaze ingredients into a saucepan/pot and bring to boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.

When the chicken is done, add the chicken and coat.

Serve warm
