Cheeseburger Salad is another way to enjoy a burger, you don’t have to munch on a load of buns before you enjoy your cheeseburger. If you love burger you would love this simple salad.
Cheeseburger Salad is my go-to whenever I crave cheeseburger but don’t want to eat too many buns. It is delicious and you won’t miss the buns from the cheeseburger.

Burger With Mushrooms and Onions
- 1 Pound Ground beef
- 1 Teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 Teaspoon Onion powder
- 2 Teaspoons Ketchup
- 1 Teaspoon Barbeque sauce
- ½ Teaspoon Dijon mustard
- Dash of Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper
- Salad
- 1 Cucumber
- Lettuce
- Avocado
- Dill pickle
- Red onion
- Tomato
- Topping
- Grated cheddar cheese
- Butter
- 2 Buns (cut up and toasted)
- Dressing
- ¼ Cup Mayo
- 2 Teaspoons ketchup
- ½ Teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 Tablespoon Pickle juice
- ½ Teaspoon Garlic powder
- ½ Teaspoon Onion powder
-
In a bowl, mix all the first 8 ingredients and make small balls.
-
Heat a pan over medium-high heat, add the beef balls (if you need to add some oil, drizzle some on the pan before adding the beef) allow the beef to brown about 5-7 minutes.
-
Drain the liquid drizzle some ketchup (if you desire) and combine.
-
Melt a tablespoon butter in another skillet/pan over medium-low then add cut up the buns into any shape you want, toast to your preference.
-
In a bowl, whisk all the ingredients under the dressing, taste and adjust to your preference. If the sauce is too thick use more pickle juice to thin it out.
-
For the sauce, I added a splash of hot sauce for some kick but it's optional that was why I didn't include it in the ingredients.
-
Clean the salad ingredients, dice avocado, cucumber, pickle, tomato, slice the onion, shred the lettuce (I used romaine).
-
Combine everything in a bowl. Feel free to use any vegetables or topping you like in a bowl of salad.
-
Add the beef top with cheese (I forgot to add the cheese before taking the picture), croutons (toasted buns), then top with the dressing. You can add any topping of your choice.
-
Enjoy!
