Chimichurri sauce has a bold flavor, it doesn’t involve any cooking and it is very easy to make. The major ingredient for Chimichurri sauce is parsley. The sauce is native to Argentina and it is usually called Chimichurri Verde.
This sauce goes with beef/steak, chicken, my husband loves it with saute vegetables so do I. This freshness from parsley alone will draw you to eat more. It is easy, and totally delicious!. If you’re a herb lover you’ll love this sauce it doesn’t take time to make and it totally worth it. I have some other sauce you might want to try please check them out I’ll also add some link below.
You might want to try;
- 1 cup Fresh flat-leaf parsley (Packed with a few stems); cleaned
- 1/4-1/2 cup Red onion (chopped)
- 1/2 cup Extra-virgin oil
- 1/4 Cup Red wine vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
- 2-3 Cloves garlic (peeled)
- 1/2-1 Teaspoon Red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste

Add the parsley and garlic in a food processor and pulse for a few minutes. You'll notice it's a little bit chopped use a spoon to scrape down the side as needed.

Add the red wine vinegar/apple cider vinegar, oil, and pulse further to combine. Scrape down the side if necessary.

Add red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.

Add the chopped onion and pulse. For this step, you can just add the onion if you prefer that.

Taste and readjust if necessary. This sauce is good with chicken, beef/steak, garlic knot bread even vegetables. Store in an airtight or leave for about 15 minutes to allow the flavor to blend, serve and enjoy immediately. If you store in a refrigerator you will need to leave at room temperature before you can use it. Enjoy.
