Chocolate Bread

You need a simple loaf of bread with some chocolatey flavor then this is for you. The bread is soft and definitely has chocolate that’s just right amount for your palate.  If you love chocolate you would love it and if you don’t love chocolate you need to give it a trial.

Not everyone in my household loves chocolate but trust me this chocolate was gone in a jiffy. If you some bread lists you’re piling to make this chocolate bread must get on that list because it’s everything you would want to eat either you want to pair with a cup of milk, tea or as is you’re in for a good treat!

Chocolate Bread

Ingredients
  • 2 Cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa
  • 1 Cup Light brown Sugar (adjust to your taste)
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1.5 Baking powder
  • 1.5 Whole milk (your choice)
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 Cup Butter/oil (melted)
  • Dash of Espresso Coffee (optional)
  • 2 Teaspoons Vanilla extract
  • Handful Semisweet Dark Chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F, then grease the baking pan (9x5) and set aside.

  2. In a bowl, whisk all the ingredients; flour, baking powder, salt, cocoa powder, sugar and set aside.

  3. In another bowl, whisk all the wet ingredients; oil/butter, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, espresso coffee if you’re using.

  4. Create space in the middle of the dry ingredients and pour the wet ingredients to combine.

  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread it out, top with chocolate chips. Sieve some cocoa powder over the batter(optional).

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 70-75 minutes, or when you insert a toothpick into the middle and it comes out clean.

  7. Allow to rest for about 10 minutes and place over a wire rack to cool down completely.

  8. Slice, serve and enjoy!

  9. You can serve with some strawberry too.
