This easy and fast dinner roll is very easy to make and it doesn’t involve long double rise. You can use a stand mixer or your hand to do the mixing. If you’re using a standing mixer do the mixing on low speed. Let’s bake!
- 4 Cups Flour (more for dusting)
- 1/2 Cup Warm water
- 1/2 Cup Warm milk
- 2 Packets Active yeast (1.5 teaspoons)
- 1 Stick Unsalted butter (melted and cool)
- 1/4 Cup Sugar (you can use more or less)
- 2 Egg
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
-
In a bowl, add warm water sprinkle of sugar and yeast. Set aside until the yeast forms.
-
Melt butter, and set aside.
-
Add the melted butter to the yeast.
-
Add milk and sugar.
-
Add egg (break the egg in small bowl one at a time, to avoid having a shell in the mixture)
-
Add the flour (a cup at a time) until you incorporate the flour and mix until it's not sticky
-
Transfer the dough onto a floured worktop and knead the dough for about 2 minutes until it is elastic and smooth. Place in a greased bowl and let it rest for 20 minutes.
-
Grease a baking pan. Divide the dough into small balls.
-
Form the dough into a small ball to resemble rolls. Cover and keep in a warm place to double up for about one hour.
-
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
-
Let it cool down. Enjoy!
