Hello there! The recipe today is about this tasty hot drink. Out of all the weather, I dislike winter because of the cold but all the food I could possibly eat during this period…lol. Although winter has not started officially it’s already snowy here since late October so this drink comes in handy.
If you try this hot apple cider drink you will definitely fall in love with it because it’s simple to make, doesn’t take, easy ingredients and to crown it all, it’s super tasty and warm your body and soul. To make this recipe you can absolutely use your favorite apples or a mixture of apples.
Let’s get started!
- 9 Apple; Quartered (about 4 pounds)
- 1 Big Orange (sliced)
- A handful of Cranberry (optional)
- 1 Tablespoon Whole Cloves
- 1 Teaspoon Allspice
- 4 Stick Cinnamon
- 10 Cups Water
- ½ Cup Brown sugar
Thoroughly rinse all the fruits, quarter the apples, slice the orange. For the apple, you can use different types of apple, just mix them up.
Add all the ingredients in a big pot and bring to a boil over medium-high heat, allow it to simmer for about 30 minutes.
Strain or mash the apples and sieve (optional) serve hot/warm, garnish with cranberry, apple, orange, and cinnamon stick.
