This easy mushroom pasta is a very tasty and simple dish everyone would enjoy. It only requires a few ingredients and yet flavorful. I used red and yellow bell peppers to give some colors, it’s optional if you don’t want to include them, use any type of mushroom you prefer. The sauce is so tasty and sticks to the pasta very well. Let’s get started.
- 10 Oz Pasta (your choice)
- 24 Oz Mushroom, sliced (your choice)
- 1/2 Red bell pepper (chopped)
- 1/2 Yellow bell pepper
- 1 Onion (chopped)
- 2 Tablespoons Olive oil (or your choice)
- Bouillon Seasoning powder/cube
- 1 Teaspoon Mince garlic
- 1 Tablespoon Onion powder
- Salt to taste
-
Cook Pasta: Pour water in a shallow saucepan or pot and bring to a boil. Add salt then add pasta and cook (two minutes less) according to the package instruction. If the instruction says to cook for 8 minutes you will cook for 6 minutes.
-
Add a dash of oil so it doesn't stick together. Drain and set aside make sure you reserve about half a cup the pasta water.
-
In a large saucepan, over a medium-high heat. Saute the garlic and chopped onion. Add the chopped bell peppers ( the bell peppers are optional, I used them to give some colors) and cook for about one minute.
-
Add the sliced mushroom and stir. Continue to cook and until the liquid released evaporated about 6 minutes. Add salt and seasoning cube.
-
Add the cooked pasta and about 1/4 cup of pasta water and combine until the pasta is coated with the sauce.
-
Cook until the water thickens, take it off the heat if you like cheese garnish with some parmesan cheese.
-
Serve.

Enjoy!
Note: This is a simple dish and you can use any shape of pasta of your choice, you can use any type of oil or butter you like. Adjust the recipe to your taste preference.
