Gingerbread is most people if not everyone’s favorite during the festive holiday, so this gingerbread waffle is must try during this holiday. They are so delicious and crowd friendly, you can prepare it for the weekend before the Christmas day or for prepare and serve it as Christmas breakfast. This gingerbread fit in for breakfast even after the holiday or any time of the year.
We all enjoyed it when I made it hope you will try and enjoy it as much as we do.
- 1.5 Cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1.5 Cups Buttermilk
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cloves
- 2 Teaspoons Cinnamon
- 1/3 Cup Molasses
- 2 Teaspoons Baking Soda
- 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
- 2 Teaspoons Ground Ginger
- 2 Eggs (separated)
- 1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil

Separate the eggs, yolk in a small bowl and egg whites in another. Whisk the egg whites to a stiff peak and set aside.

Combine all the dry ingredients; baking powder, baking soda, flour, ground ginger, ground cloves, cinnamon, and salt.

Whisk together egg yolks, vanilla extract, vegetable oil, molasses, and buttermilk.

Mix both wet and dry ingredients together.

Gently fold in the egg whites into the mixture and set the batter aside for about 10 minutes.

Preheat the waffle maker/iron and spray with baking spray or oil. Pout the batter and cook according to the waffle maker's instruction.

Serve with warm maple syrup and Enjoy.
