It’s the second month of the year and it is still cold at the neck of my hood. So, what do one need that this hearty goat meat pepper soup?lol. Goat meat pepper soup is one of West Africa delicacy and people eat it at any time not necessarily during the cold time.
I used jalapeno it is a personal preference and 5 habanero (rodo). The rodo available here is not as spicy as the ones back home. So, adjust the pepper to your level of pepper tolerance.
You might want to try;
Potato, Sausage And Cabbage Soup
- 4 Cups Goat meat (size-bites)
- 5 Habanero (rodo adjust to your level of heat tolerance)
- 2 Jalapeno (chopped) optional
- 2 Cloves Garlic
- 1 Inch Ginger
- 1 Tablespoon Oil
- 1 Heapful Tablespoon Pepper soup spice
- A handful of Scent leaves (or parsley/uziza leaves)
- Seasoning powder/cube
- Salt

Place the cleaned bite-size meat into a saucepan/pot, add ginger, garlic cloves, seasoning powder/cube, and salt.

While the meat is cooking, chop the habanero and jalapeno if you're using, add to the meat mixture and continue cooking.

Add the oil, pepper soup spice and combine.

When the meat is fully cooked and soft, add the chopped herb you’re using, combine and taste readjust the seasoning according. Remove the garlic and ginger.

Serve warm

Enjoy! This was garnish with red pepper flakes.
