If you’re looking for what to use ground beef for you need to try this hamburger and onion gravy. This hamburger and onion gravy are very delicious and I’m sure you wouldn’t want to miss it. If you like onions you’ll love it more in this recipe.
One of the reasons why I love ground beef is because of its versatility, you can basically transform it into different dishes and you’d love each and every dish. You can use 90% fat or 73% fat ground beef for this recipe. Depending on how much sauce you want you can use less what I used or more of the broth used. When you first brown the patties they’re just being browned they’re not fully cooked make sure you cook them fully when you transfer them back into the broth.

Parmesan Waffle With Ground Beef
- 1.5 - 2 Cups Beef broth
- 1 Pound Ground beef
- 1 Teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 Teaspoon Onion powder
- 2 Tablespoons flour
- 2 Teaspoons Olive oil
- 3 Tablespoons butter
- 1 Big onion (sliced)
- Seasoning powder/cubes (optional)
- Salt and pepper
-
Place the ground beef in a bowl, season with Worcestershire sauce olive oil, garlic and onion powders, seasoning powder/cube (if you're using) salt, and pepper.
-
Mix and form 4 patties (depending on the size you want). Place a pan/skillet over medium heat and place the patties.
-
Use a spatula and press down each patty to flatten. Brown and cook on both sides.
-
Remove and set aside. In the same pan, add butter and cook the onion season with salt (not too much just to draw the liquid out) until soft and translucent. If you love it brown allow the onion to cook until it's all slightly brown.
-
Sprinkle the flour, stir and cook until brown.
-
Pour in the beef broth, stir, and simmer.
-
Return the patties season with salt and pepper. Be gentle when you’re seasoning because of the broth contains salt.
-
Simmer until the patties are fully cooked and the gravy reduced. Make sure the patties are fully cooked if not the inside will not be fully cooked.
-
Serve and enjoy!
