Happy Friday, everyone! So, I tried keto swallow for the first time and I would like to say I was surprised how they all turned out or let me just say I was surprised I like it…lol. Oh yes, I was surprised because in one of Facebook I groups I belong to there’s an Uncle that would share low carb, asked questions about it and I would say no, thank you! I like my amala…lol.
Then, I created a Facebook group (please join if you’re not a member yet) for my blog in April and there’s this beloved sister that shares her keto meals in the group, and I said I was going to try the”swallow” dish out. A few weeks ago, a lady gave me some vegetables and the first thing that came to my mind to prepare was keto swallow.
Truly, I made low carb swallow; cabbage swallow first, I liked it a few days later I tried carrot fufu ( someone told me carrot swallow is not keto complainant but it’s good), it was good, I tried the broccoli and I liked it too by the way all the three have similar processes.
To make low carb swallow or low carb amala or low carb fufu, you need a vegetable, psyllium husk or ground flaxseed. I used ground flaxseed (psyllium husk works better), water plus any your choice of soup to eat it. In all of these “swallows”, I liked the cabbage the most and I will be making it more very often.
The carrot swallow I liked it but not as much as the cabbage because it has some sweet taste. The broccoli swallow was good too but I still favor the cabbage swallow or cabbage fufu. I would be trying other low carb swallow and I will share them with Y’all.

Psyllium husk serves as a binder so you need to use it. However, someone told me she used grinded ogbono in making and it worked. I haven't try it with grinded ogbono so I can't validate that but I'm just throwing it out there if you want to try it out you can.
