If you’re a mango lover you’ll definitely love this mango habanero chicken. This recipe is very easy to replicate, I used mango habanero sauce in this recipe, I posted the recipe before and I’ll link the recipe below so you can check it.
For this recipe, please feel free to use any chicken part you like just make sure you adjust the cooking time so the chicken is not dry out. This chicken goes very well with rice, mashed potatoes, scoop the sauce over vegetables and enjoy. Who’s going to try this mango habanero chicken? Let me know how it goes. You might want to try:
- 6 Big chicken thighs (bones in and skin on)
- 1 Teaspoon garlic and onion powders
- 2 Tablespoons oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup habanero Mango sauce (adjust the sauce to your preference)

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Clean the chicken and pat dry, season with ginger, garlic powders, salt and pepper then massage the chicken for a couple of minutes.

Heat oil in an oven-proof pan/skillet and brown the chicken (skin-side down first), flip and brown the other side for a couple of minutes more.

Transfer the pan/skillet to the preheated oven and roast for about 25 minutes.

Add the habanero mango sauce, return the pan to the oven and continue to cook for about 7-10 minutes.

If you want more sauce, please feel free to add more habanero sauce.

Serve and enjoy with your favorite side dish.
