Peach bbq chicken thigh is so delicious and I’m not exaggerating. This is a crowd-pleasing chicken recipe, I used peach preserves and peach fruits but the fruits are optional you can replicate the dish without it. Let’s get started.
- 8 Pieces Chicken thigh
- 18 Oz Peach preserves
- 2 Peach fruits (optional); sliced
- 2 Tablespoons Olive oil (divided)
- 1 Cup Barbecue sauce
- 1/4 Cup Warm water
- 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Onion (chopped)
- 2 Cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 Teaspoon Onion and garlic powder (each)
- Knorr bouillon powder/cube
- Salt to taste
-
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Clean the chicken and pat dry.
-
Add knorr, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Mix to combine. and set aside for about 30 minutes.
-
Place a skillet or oven proof pan over medium-high heat. Add a tablespoon of olive oil.
-
Add the chicken (skin down) and brown both sides for a couple of minutes. If the skillet is small you can do it in batches. Remove from the pan and set aside.
-
Add the chopped onion and garlic, stir around and cook until it's soft.
-
Add the peach, barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, water and combine.
-
Transfer the chicken to the barbecue mixture coat the chicken with sauce, if the sauce is too thick add more water, make sure it is not too much. Add peaches if you're using.
-
Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for one hour or until it cooked through and the sauce thickens.
-
Serve with your favourite side.

Enjoy!
