Potato and beef omelette is a very basic meal you can make for breakfast, it nutritious and very easy to make. I used beef but you can use bacon/ham or whatever protein you like. You can use as many slices of beef (if you’re using beef) as you wish. I said basic meal but trust me it’s delicious. Let’s get started!
- 8 Eggs
- 2 Tablespoons Milk
- 1 Tablespoon Unsalted butter
- 2 Tablespoons Olive oil
- Sliced beef
- 1.5 Cups Diced potatoes
- 1/4 Cup Red bell pepper (diced)
- 2 Pieces Green onions (diced)
- Knorr bouillon powder/cube
- Salt and pepper
-
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Dice up, rinse the potatoes and set aside.
-
Place a large skillet/frying pan over a medium-low heat, place the sliced beef (or any protein you're using) and cook on both sides to render the fat. Just cook lightly about two minutes.
-
Remove from the pan and set aside.
-
Add the oil and let it get hot, season the diced potatoes with salt and pepper, add to the pan to cook until it is tender.
-
Remove onto a plate and set aside.
-
In a large bowl, crack the eggs, add milk, knorr, salt, and pepper. Whisk together.
-
In the same pan used for the potatoes, clean it and add butter and melt, swirl to touch the side of the pan (to avoid sticking), and allow the pan to get hot, and turn off the heat.
-
Add the eggs, add potatoes.
-
Top it with the beef (cut into small bites), red bell, and green onions.
-
Place in the preheated oven and cook for about 8 minutes until the egg sets and cooked.
-
Let it cools, cut up and serve. Enjoy!
Oh! another breakfast idea. It looks yum.
Yes, and tastes delicious!
