Shrimp Cakes

Shrimp cakes are perfect for entertaining, appetizer, or dinner meal. It is easy to make and it’s crowd-friendly, pair it with any of your favorite side dishes or eat as is. It doesn’t require too many ingredients. If you don’t like frying food you can bake it.

Shrimp is one of my seafood favorites and these shrimp cakes are not excluded, I loved it and family loved to eat it and they always love and asked for more whenever I prepare it. You could eat it as it is or pair with potatoes, and/ with salad.

For some acidity, squeeze some freshly squeezed lemon over it and transport it to another level… Yum! I had posted some shrimps recipes in the past you might want to check them out.

  7. Before the time you want to fry remove the shrimps' mixture and leave to return to room temperature.

  8. Place a skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat. Add a little bit of oil to cover the bottom of the saucepan and let it get hot, not smoky hot.

  9. Scoop small (or the size you want) shrimp mixture and fry on both sides. Don't leave the shrimps cake unattended (the first set I fried burnt because I was attending to something else) they burn easily. Cook for a few minutes until it's fully cooked.

  10. Line a plate with a paper towel, remove the shrimps and drain on the lined plate.

  11. Serve with your favorite sauce.
