Shrimp Yam Balls

It’s New Month! Hurray! We make to September! Happy New Month, Guys! I will be sharing shrimp yam balls with you today and I’m sorry I’ve not been posting as I normally do, I’ve been busy lately please bear with me! Back to the shrimp yam balls recipe, yam is a very popular food in Nigeria or Africa and it’s in season right now and people get to purchase in a cheaper now although, it’s very expensive here.

So, I want to share another way you could enjoy your yam. This recipe was made with shrimp, peppers, and onion but it is totally optional though recommended. You can make just yam balls without adding all these ingredients and still taste good. I coated them in the egg mixture and breadcrumbs, flour could be used too.

Breadcrumb is ideal for a crunchy texture if you’re flour you can still get the crunchy effect but you’d need to fry longer and you don’t want to fry too long. Let’s get started.
