Red lentil mint soup 

It is one of those Turkish food recipes that certainly delivers on flavor. A tasty and nutritious soup fit for a real Turkish man. It is traditional Turkish food with all the essence of a Turkish kitchen. A brilliant soup to make a big batch and with crusty bread throughout the week.

Ingredients

  • One white onion
  • One clove of garlic
  • ¼ cup of diced tomatoes
  • I’ve cups of chicken stock
  • ¼ cup of bulgur
  • Our cup of red lentils
  • ¼ cup of rice
  • 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
  • A teaspoon of cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of Caprica
  • 1 tablespoon of dried mint
  • Black pepper
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Heat your olive oil in a large pot over medium heat and combine the onion with the garlic, cooking for two minutes. After this, add in the tomatoes and cook down for 10 minutes.
  2. Or in the stock, bulgur, red lentils, rice, broker, tomato paste, mint, and cayenne pepper. Bring it up to a boil; reduce the heat down to low and simmer until everything is cooked.
  3. Transfer into a blender and pulse until it reaches the texture that you desire.
