Homemade Fried Octopus
Ingredients

Pound
Octopus
(Cleaned)

Carrots
(Peeled and cut into chunks)
2
Sticks Celery
(cut into chunks)
Bay leaf
Oil/ butter
(enough for frying)

Cup
All-purpose
Knorr bouillon powder/cube
Salt and pepper
Instructions
Clean the octopus and run under cold water
Cut the celery sticks and carrots into chunks
Place a saucepan/pot over medium heat.
Add water, cleaned octopus, celery, carrots thyme, salt, and pepper.
Boil the octopus until it softens.
Drain and set aside.
In a small bowl, add the flour and season with salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
Dredge the cooked octopus into the flour and shake off the excess flour out.
Place a frying pan.pot over medium heat and heat the oil. You want the oil to be hot about 375 degrees F.
Gently lower the coated octopus and fry on both sides until crispy.
Drain on a plate lined with paper towel.
Serve with your favorite sauce and enjoy.
For the sauce, I used Ketchup, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce.
