Whisk all the dry ingredients; flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, sugar as little or as much as you want.
Combine both dry and wet ingredients together and set aside.
Mix all the dry ingredients except the lemon juice; oil or butter(melted), vanilla, milk, and egg.
Peel the apples, core, and slice (make sure it’s not too thick) about ¼ inch thickness is okay. Drizzle splash of lemon juice over the apple to avoid turning brown. P.S You can peel, slice then use a knife to core the middle. You can also use a corer.
Add enough oil for frying in a skillet or a frying pan and allow to heat over medium heat, allow to get hot to about 350 degrees F.
Dip in a sliced apple into the batter, allow to drip off the excess and drop into the hot oil, be careful when you’re dropping it not to splash the hot oil. You can use a fork for the dipping and dropping into the hot oil pan.
Fry on both sides until golden brown. Allow the oil to get to the previous temperature and continue to fry until you’re done. I got about 15 pieces.
Drain on paper towel, you can enjoy it as dessert or breakfast.
For dessert, sprinkle cinnamon powder, and/powdered sugar.
For breakfast, serve with fruits, milk/juice and enjoy!
