Gather all the ingredients, bring a pot of water to a boil over high heat, season with salt and cook the pasta according to the packet but make sure you cook it for about 90 percent because you're still going to continue the cooking in the sauce and you don't want your pasta mushy. Drain the pasta and reserve some water and discard the rest. Then set aside
While the pasta is boiling, place a large saucepan or pot over medium-high heat and caramelize the onion make sure the onion is not burned, add thyme, ginger, garlic and stir to avoid burning.
Add the Mariana or pasta sauce and combine, add the pepper flakes and cook until it reduces.
Season the sauce with salt and pepper add bouillon powder/cube if you're using and then stir in the fish and gently mix. Allow it to cook further for a few minutes until the fish is slightly cooked.
Add the cooked pasta, pasta water (depending on how long your pasta needs to cook further) and combine.
Add the vegetables and green onion, check the season and readjust if necessary.
Take off the heat and serve.
Garnish with parsley and cheese if you desire. Enjoy!
