Easy Homemade Lemonade

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 cups sugar (or 1 cup honey)
  • 5-7 cups water (or more)
  • Lemon slices for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Clean the lemons, cut into two and squeeze out into a bowl I used 7 large lemons. To get enough juice from the lemon, place a lemon on your worktop surface and place your palm over it and roll, with this you will get more juice out of the lemon. Then squeeze out the juice make sure you don't have any seed in the lemon.

  2. Add one cup of water and sugar, boil until the sugar/honey dissolved. Stir to make sure it all dissolves.

  3. If there are lemon pulps strain and combine with about 4 more cups of water in a pitcher.

  4. Check to be sure if it’s sweet enough for you or not if it’s too sweet then add more water. Chill and serve with slices of lemon (if desired) and ice cubes.
