In a bowl or a mixer bowl, add warm water, yeast, and a sprinkle of sugar. Set aside for about 5-10 minutes until the yeast form up.
Add flour, sugar, salt, 1 garlic minced, combine using a dough hook or your hand if you’re not using a mixer. Add the 2 tablespoons of oil and continue to knead until it forms a ball.
Grease the dough top with oil (to avoid drying), also grease the bowl then place the dough into the bowl, set aside for at least 30 minutes or up to 60 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F, line a baking sheet a parchment paper, and set it aside.
Melt the butter in a small pot over medium heat (you can also use a microwave), add the remaining garlic (minced), oregano, salt, and set aside.
Punch the dough down and divide into two, roll each dough into a rectangle you can use a rolling pin for it and cut it into 6 strips.
Pick each strip and knot placing the end of the knot underneath you can also leave it sticking out. Roll out the second dough and repeat the process.
Dip the knotted dough into the butter mixture. Place on the baking sheet/pan and bake for 10 minutes or more until golden brown.
Enjoy with pasta/pizza sauce or chimichurri or serve with pasta or your favorite.
Enjoy.
