This dish originally came from a real man who became the Macedon king at 19, Alexander the Great. The Turkish named it after him, and it has a delicious taste. It was his favorite dish.

Ingredients
1tablespoonof olive oil
4pita loaves of bread
4chicken breasts(chopped)
2medium onions(chopped)
1cloveof garlic(minced)
A can of tomato puree
Salt
Black pepper
Half a cup of melted butter
1cupof Greek yogurt
¼cupof fresh parsley
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F and arrange the pieces of bread onto your baking sheet. You can also look at air fryer reviews if you want to cook a bit faster. Lightly toast them for around five minutes and cut into bite-size bases.
Heat your olive oil in a pan over medium heat and stir in the chicken, garlic, and onion. Cook until juices have left the meat. Stir in the tomato puree, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook for a further 10 minutes.
Arrange slices of pita into a serving dish and drizzle over butter, top it all with the chicken mix. Add parsley and yogurt and serve.
