Rice Tuwo (Tuwo Shinkafa)

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Short grain rice
  • Water

Instructions

  1. Rinse rice with cold water until it runs clear.

  2. Place a saucepan/pot over medium-high heat, add water and rice.

  3. Add about four cups of water and cook until it is soft and mushy.

  4. Add water as you go until the rice is all soft and mushy.

  5. When the rice is done, use a ladle or back of a spoon to mash the rice or better still use a hand mixer to mash the rice.

  6. Roll into balls or just scoop and serve with Gbegiri. Enjoy!.
