Clean the beef and dice up or cut into strips. Season with salt and pepper and set aside. If you're using frozen vegetables thaw, drain and set aside. If you're using fresh clean, chop up and set aside.
Place a wok/pan over high heat and cook the beef on both sides.
Add garlic, ginger, and onion then combine. Cook for a few minutes then add the Thai paste/sauce and cook until fragrant. Add the coconut milk, basil and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer until the mixture thickens enough to coat the rice without excess sauce flowing around unless if you desire to have some sauce with it.
Add the cooked rice, green onions, vegetables, and stir, season with salt and pepper.
Allow all the mixture to heat up.
Serve and enjoy.
