How to make pineapple Syrup is a versatile syrup you can use on most of the food you use any syrup for like pancake, ice cream, waffle etcetera. This is better than you can think of, just drizzle over anything, and it will transform it to another level. You can use less sugar or more, that would depend on how sugary you want it. The syrup thickens when it cools down so put that into consideration when boiling it.
- 1 Pineapple
- 1 Cup Water
- 1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar (use more or less)
-
Peel the pineapple.
-
Core and cut into chunks.
-
Blend and sieve with a strainer or a cheesecloth, to make it sieve easily add water when sieving it. I used one cup you might lesser than that or more.
-
Place a saucepan over medium-low heat and pour the pineapple mixture and sugar and boil.
-
Continue to boil until it reduces to the consistency you want but keep in mind that it thickens a little more when it cools down.
-
Let it cool down completely and pour into a sterilized jar and store in a refrigerator.
