These oatmeal dark chocolate chips cookies delicious cookies, and it was made by my kids with a little help, they used a hand mixer to do the mixing, you can use a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attached to it. It is easy to make, chewy, gooey, it’s delicious! A friend shared the recipe with me I only tweaked it a little bit and the kids baked it. Let’s get started.
- 1 1/4 Cups all-Purpose Flour
- 1 Cup Dark Chocolate (you can use more)
- 1 Cup Unsalted Butter (2 sticks) @ room temperature
- 2 Eggs
- 3 Cups Cooking Oat
- 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar ( you can use more)
- 1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar ( adjust to your liking)
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Line a baking sheet with a parchment and set aside.

Mix oatmeal, flour, salt, baking soda and set aside.

Cream together butter and sugar using a standing mixer or a hand mixer.

Add vanilla extract and eggs (one at a time).

Add the oatmeal mixture to the sugar mixture.

Combine, make sure you don't over mix.

Add the chocolate chips

Mix together until combined and well distributed.

Scoop the dough with ice cream scoop and place on the lined baking sheet. Space the dough because it will spread out while baking.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 - 11 minutes or until the bottom is golden brown. Let it cool and enjoy.
