These pan-fried akara sandwiches are very simple and easy to make. In my previous post, I showed how to make pan-fried akara, I’ll link the recipe below, so check it out because it shows the recipe and the procedure on how to make it. This post shows you how to eat it as sandwiches. These could be served as a quick snack, breakfast, and you can add just assemble, and eat it on the go. No stress at all! You can use your choice of sliced bread but make sure they’re thick so as to hold everything without the bread falling apart.
You might want to try:
- 4 Slices bread (your choice); thick slices
- 2 Pan-fried Akara (add more if desire)
- 8 Roma tomato slices
- 8 Cucumber slices
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- Chili sauce (optional)
Smear butter on one side of the bread slices, place the cucumber and tomato slices on two bread slices.
Add one pan-fried akara on each bread then drizzle the chili sauce (if you're using it) and spread over it.
Cover with the other slice of bread. Press in a panini maker or electric grill or on a skillet.
Remove the sandwiches.
slice, serve, and enjoy!
